Consultation response to the common agricultural policy

The target group for accessing funds through LEADER and rural development may be perceived as limiting in the proposals submitted, and Local Development Sweden believes that the target group description must be broadened.

Just before Christmas, Lokal Utveckling Sverige submitted a response regarding our view on the proposals for the next program period. Among other things, the importance of earmarked funds for Leader was emphasized, that Leader should be available throughout the country, and that the target group definition needs to be broad to meet the needs of rural areas.
